A Guide to RAL Finishes: Choosing the Right Parcel Box Colour for Your Home

Your parcel box isn’t just practical. It’s part of your home’s first impression. Whether you want it to blend seamlessly with your exterior or add a stylish focal point to your entrance, the colour you choose matters.

That’s why our boxes are finished in timeless RAL colours — the European standard for consistent, high-quality paints and coatings. They’re designed to complement everything from classic stone cottages to sleek new builds. And unlike basic finishes, they won’t fade or flake after a season or two in the British weather.

Below, we break down the key RAL colours in our range and help you find your perfect match.

RAL 9005 – Jet Black

Bold. Minimal. Always in style.

Jet Black (RAL 9005) is a confident choice that works especially well on modern homes, black cladding, and crisp architectural lines. It also pairs beautifully with matching door hardware and signage.

Whether you’re opting for a wall-mounted letterbox or a secure parcel drop box, black adds a sleek, intentional touch.

RAL 7016 – Anthracite Grey

If you’ve noticed an uptick in stylish grey windows, fences and doors — you’re looking at the popularity of RAL 7016 Anthracite.

This deep charcoal tone has become a favourite for new builds and renovations alike. It’s neutral but impactful, blending beautifully with metal, glass, and rendered walls.

We stock a wide range of anthracite grey boxes, including:

• The Oslo – a sleek, front-access option
• The Fulham – compact, secure, and wall-mountable
• Chelsea through-the-wall boxes – perfect for gate or fence installations

RAL 6021 – Pale Green

Soft, calming, and a little bit unexpected — RAL 6021 brings subtle colour without stealing the show. It works beautifully against warm red brick, soft render, or natural timber, making it a perfect fit for country homes and garden-forward settings.

Our green parcel boxes are ideal if you’re looking to add personality with a gentle, earthy twist.

RAL 7032 – Pebble Grey (Also known as Cotswold Green)

Understated elegance, with a touch of country charm.

Our newest colour, Pebble Grey (RAL 7032), is inspired by the natural tones of the Cotswolds — think muted sage, soft stone, and timeless limewash walls.

It blends effortlessly with stone, brick, and garden landscaping, adding a soft accent without drawing too much attention. From heritage homes to clean, neutral exteriors, Pebble is fast becoming a customer favourite.
